Glitch’s

On the popular photo sharing site Flickr, if you upload a .gif file the animated imagery shows up in an abstracted compressed single image. In the case of my Disasters of War series, the glitch pushed the violence of my imagery further. In some ways I see these glitch’s as the software working in a painterly way, freely moving pixels around the way a painter push’s paint around the canvas.
